projectfacts 6.10 – Effective sales controlling

projectfacts version 6.10 builds directly on the last release and offers you undreamt-of possibilities to analyse and further optimise your sales work. The improved usability enables your team to work even more effectively. You can find more about this and all other important innovations in our changelog.

New functions

  • Introduction of new calculation modes for short-time work.
  • New unit FTE (full-time equivalent) in capacity planning.
  • Tickets can be assigned to organisations.
  • Sales opportunities can be analysed over a time horizon.
  • New form of one-time validation check, which does not require a new check after editing the element to be checked.
  • Activity analysis for temporal analysis of all CRM activities, sales opportunities, documents, etc.

Changes

  • Exports are made uniformly in XLSX format, the older XLS format is no longer used.
  • Key account managers and supervisors of important personal contacts as well as the corresponding counterparts on the customer side can be better identified and used for evaluations.

Improvements

  • New assignment options for sales opportunities: campaign and recommender.
  • Assignment of incoming invoice items to sub-projects (and their contribution margin) possible.
  • The personal leave account summary now also shows leave in draft.
  • New group right to be able to see the leave drafts of colleagues.
  • The planning of attendance/absence times can be limited to a maximum duration (days).
  • Employees with trust working time can now call in sick (duration is calculated from absence time based on attendance times).

  • When creating a sub-project from a template, the reference date can be used. Time periods (start of plan, end of plan, etc.) are also shifted as with the main project.

  • projectfacts opens faster even if it is not installed as PWA.
  • The sales opportunity project is also included in the creation dialogue when creating appointments, tickets, documents and QM documents.

  • API can now output taxtype as enum for the endpoint “invoice”.
  • In rare cases, emails were retrieved multiple times from the mailbox if they were processed further by the server after receipt (especially Exchange servers such as Microsoft 365).

Bug fixes

  • Fixed incorrect sorting of sales phases in sales opportunity analysis.
  • Correct currency symbol in the totals row in receipts with foreign currency.
  • Working hours report now shows start-end break (instead of empty table cells).
  • When merging tickets, tasks in the draft are no longer moved as well.
  • Capacity analysis often did not show the names of the main projects.
  • Clerk capacities could only see employees for whom capacities exist in the capacity analysis, even if additional data such as booked time is to be displayed.
  • Splitting project time analysis by project type now works.
  • Working day analysis can be filtered correctly by employee again.
  • The project status dialogue now saves the keyword again.
  • My travel requests tile shows entries again, even if you don’t have admin rights.
  • Right-click menu in tree lists (e.g. project structure manager) works again.
  • The favourite of a project now jumps to the right detail manager tab.
  • Twitter avatar icons in the news tile were not displayed correctly.
  • Clicking on an email address in a ticket process no longer opens the broken email dialogue. The handling is now the same as when clicking on an address within a contact manager.
  • Archived document templates are no longer selectable.
  • Excel export “HR sick days” now also exports the illness type.
  • Assignment of a ticket when creating an invoice from an order is now configurable (default off).
  • Adjusted labels and selection when assigning a ticket when creating an invoice from an order.
  • When creating a receipt via a ticket, this ticket is assigned to the receipt. When creating an invoice via a quote or order, the option in the configuration decides on the takeover of the assigned ticket.
  • QM files are no longer displayed as “?” in “Meter readings”.
  • The filter field of free fields with the field type “Formatted text” is now a normal text field.
  • When converting a sub-project or work package into a main project, the correct icon is now displayed.
  • Added filter groups “Capacities – Period”, “Capacities – Target Project” and the corresponding filters to the capacity plan lists.
  • My Tasks displayed irrelevant items (work packages from project templates, checks on archived QM documents).
  • Billability filter in “Billing items” now works correctly.
  • In the working time analysis, the remaining leave is now also displayed including the previous year’s leave.
  • The leave period is displayed correctly again for requests.
  • Ticket board entries were sometimes recognised as completed if the associated ticket had an external responsibility.
  • Project team filter optimisation. If an employee has no team members, none are displayed.
  • Sorting of projects/the project tree in the project status analysis report corrected.
  • The external hourly rate of employees is now also taken into account in the “Project Time Analysis” report for the revenue forecast.
  • The correct time is now also displayed for attendance categories that do not have to be posted.
  • The board search works again.
  • In capacity planning, whether the planning is “fixed” is again taken into account for the following days.
  • Capacities can be created with a 100% share again.
  • Cash discount in ZUGFeRD/XRechnung no longer leads to an error message.
